We want you back!!! It’s a simple statement that every organization uses in its Marketing to those who haven’t used their products or services in some time. But here at the Y it is more than a gimmick. We truly want to see more of you back in our facility. As we continue to “re-open” we have yet to see occupancy increase to levels we were used to pre-COVID. Although this is expected, we wish to be the facility in the community that offers everyone safety and health. Are there ways we aren’t serving you that we should be? Are there needs within the community the Y can step up to meet? We are always open to your feedback and suggestions. We understand we must also change and adapt in this unprecedented time we live in so we ask each of you to help us identify needs we can address within our community and ways we can attract more usage within our walls.
As we approach the Fall months, we have much to look forward to. We have been slowly opening more and more of the facility to allow for more activity and programs to take place. We now have the Gym open for pickleball and basketball and other activities as time permits. We have Fall Rec Soccer firing up, with practices underway and games starting soon. Thus far we have seen a great turnout, all things considered, but there is always room for more so please register if you haven’t already. Andrew Scholl is hard at work planning for the season and the players, coaches, and spectator’s safety. Andrew is also developing other ideas for programming for the winter months so we can utilize more of the facility and get more kids and families actively involved at the Y. We have plenty of space and really want to see the building filling up again. We welcome you back with open arms, as you are comfortable doing so. Things are still not as they were when we were forced to shut down in March, but we have come a long way since re-opening in June and we are confident we are offering everyone a safe and healthy facility to come back to. Please join us.
Enjoy the rest of the warm late-summer days and take advantage of the changing seasons to get back to “normal” workouts and programming. We are excited to crank it up a notch and have more and more going on as we head into Autumn. Be well everyone and stay safe and healthy!!
