The Richard G. Snyder YMCA is excited to announce that it will be participating in the Armstrong County Community Foundation’s fourth annual Day of Giving, which will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2014. The new year will bring more opportunities for Armstrong County residents to enjoy the benefits of a free membership at the Richard G. Snyder YMCA. Stop in today to see if you qualify. Active&Fit® is the new program for people ages 18 to 64 and Silver&Fit® is for those 65 and older. People qualify for these benefits through their health insurance and can visit the Y or call their health plan to learn if they are eligible. Attention Members and Friends of the Y It has been brought to my attention that an individual is calling and identifying himself as a representative of the Y. He is asking for additional information on children for the “safety kits” we are working on. I assure you the Y is not working on any kind of Safety Kit and I urge you to give no personal information out and contact Chief Matthews at the Kittanning Police Department immediately.
