Adaptive Classes

Adult Adaptive Gym & Swim

Our 8-week Adult Adaptive classes are designed to be accessible to individuals with a wide range of abilities.

Gym time is structured to incorporate balance, hand eye coordination, range of motion, and endurance. These classes aim to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where participants can engage in physical activity, improve their fitness levels, and enhance their overall well-being.

The Adult Adaptive Swim option is an opportunity for participants to spend time in the natatorium where they will engage in various water activities and games while also focusing on general comfort in and around water and practicing basic swimming skills.

Participants can choose to attend both or choose just the gym or the swim class.

Tuesday – Swim: 9:45am – 10:30am
Gym: 10:30am – 11:30am
Wednesday – Gym: 7:00pm – 7:50pm
Swim: 7:50pm – 8:30pm
Friday- Gym: 11:00am – 12:00pm

Youth Adaptive

Youth Adaptive Gym program is designed to get your child with special needs moving and active.

We strive to set and achieve physical and emotional goals for each child. Our instructors ae hands-on and work to provide a supportive and appropriately stimulating environment. Participants are encouraged to stay enthusiastic throughout each activity by having agency over equipment and activity options.

Diversity of Abilities Swim Lessons (formerly Youth Adaptive Swim) is where our youth participants learn to be comfortable and safe in the water, as well as basic swimming skills under the guidance of caring and knowledgeable instructors.

Tuesdays and Thursdays
Gym: 5:00pm – 6:00pm
Swim: 6:05pm – 6:45pm
